Guys, Hard to believe we are up and running nearly 4 months and have to say we are very pleased with the support, the contributions and steady progress people have made so far. It is still very much appreciated. It is now important for us to move to the next phase and prepare for 2013. So as part of that we are about to turn our attention to a number of key areas which will include: 1) Merchandise - it's time we made our presence felt in general and specifically at shows. This will take time but the work has already started with prototypes of stickers and other related items. Until prototypes come back we have no specific availability dates just yet so please be patient for the time being as we know many of you have asked when these will be available. 2) Site enhancements - we've taken on board you're feedback and as you will have seen last night we have commenced that work with the new capability to embed YouTube videos. There is more planned in line with your feedback in the next few weeks. 3) Moderators - thank you to all those who expressed an interest. The only problem we have is that the site is doing exactly what we wanted in that it is self moderating so with the exception of filtering out spam registrations things have been very smooth but we want more people to get involved so we can get other aspects around the site improved such as the above 2 items. 4) Trading and Entrepreneurs - quite a few people have expressed an interest in advertising on the site. Some are prominent retailers and some are small part time ventures. The ethos of the site is aimed at the community so to remain consistent with that we plan on exploring both avenues. We will engage with like minded Traders who are interested in the site and we will also look to create a designated area so that new emerging people/businesses have an opportunity to promote what they can offer as a product or service. So its onwards and upwards.....stay tuned..... Thank you for your attention. |
