All,

thanks to a number of people there are regular monthly meets taking place right across the country. In fact the number is increasing. Eddie Rockets must love us at this stage :)

To all the new people who have just signed up and no matter what German car you drive be that Audi, BMW, Merc, Opel, Porsche, VW family etc please try and attend them in particular while the summer is here.

They are good craic, you get chance to get out from behind the keyboard and chat, exchange ideas, share knowledge as well as showing off your pride and joy car.

It's what helps to extend and promote the community.

Check out the events section for further details and get involved.

I was checking out the Eddie Rockets thread earlier......MMMMmmmmmm Eddie's :@)

Definitely hope to attend a few of these meets...in a BMW :ympeace:
Really keen to see a few of the fantasic looking cars on the site!
Also I will be able to answer any questions or advice you on certain things, which is especially helpful when the car can be seen physically!

Also, I'll be able to give a bit of a head up as to whether or not I will be attending and I can take pre-orders, and bring them along for you on the evening!

Dave, it would be great to see a wider mix of cars at these events. For the most part we all share the same interest in similar German marques. It's a small enough country and it would be a nice problem to have if we were having to find bigger venues to cater for all the cars. Maybe Eddie Rockets need a mobile chip van :)

Maybe one day we can organise our own yearly event/show. That would be some sight.

Sounds like a good excuse to reinstate the Limerick Eddie Rockets meet for limerick/clare lads.

It's something I have always thought about Belfast, Limerick, why not Dublin ?
