Halfords Car Park, Waterford, 8pm

It's been a long time since I've come across a meet down this side, is there any done by other sites or forums I'm not aware of or would there be interest in some?

Pick a venue with good parking where you can arrange a lineup of a few cars, somewhere near a burger joint is always good as there will be somewhere to retreat to when it rains. These car parks are usually well lit too so useful as the evenings draw in a bit later in the year.

Pick a day of the week and a time of the month.

Put it out there and see who turns up! Sure, the first couple might be slow enough with only a few cars but as word gets around more will come. Make sure you make it known that it's not a burning rubber kind of thing and you won't get any hassle from the law or the car park owners. If you respect the area and the people there's no reason why this couldn't be the start of a great regular event!!

Well I'll put it out there and see what happens!
Some heads may remember the Waterford meets of old, they worked, were relaxed and we all had a good time.
I'd be thinking the first Tuesday or Wednesday evening or each month, midweek to break up the week a little and not to affect people's weekends.
There's plenty of spots we can go that are easily found for people not from the area and are generally quiet.
Ideally halfords car park is big and open and we wouldn't be putting in or out on anyone! Also a stones throw to mcdonalds or Maxol garage for a bite or coffee. It's also a good spot for photos if your so inclined and of course it's on the outer ring road so if we fancied a spin it's very handy and lowered car friendly!
I'm open to suggestion on anything and everything here but it's gone very quiet this side of the country and why not take advantage of the stretch in the evenings

Old meets were a good laugh and made a good few friends through it.

2 wheels are better than no wheels David! Yeah absolutely Donal, made some good friends from those meets and probably pushed everyone to do that little bit more with their cars to keep things fresh

if the turnouts would be decent, id might take a spin to Waterford.

Well it'll be the M5 or the Ducati, it won't be boring anyway

I'd be up for this too, haven't been to any kind of meet in a very long time!

Seems like we have a few interested so, as Trevor said we may have to start small and grow but would it be too soon to say the first Wednesday of July? Well the second might suit this month, the 8th, we say 7:30 @ halfords car park?
